Who will win the Nations League? We ask Mr. Predictor!

Hi gang! I correctly predicted that Portugal would beat Switzerland in the Nations League semi-finals, and that the Netherlands and England would draw in 90 minutes. Check out my tip for the final below, plus more. Click here to bet.

Croatia 1 v 0 Wales – Saturday 8 June – European Championship Qualifier – Croatia Win (1.55)

These two teams are in similar form. Both have won three and lost two of their past five games. However, Croatia are much stronger at home, where they’ve won eight of their last ten games. Wales’ recent victories have all been very narrow, and they’ve only scored four goals in those five games. I think Croatia will have too much class here.

Turkey 0 v 2 France – Saturday 8 June – European Championship Qualifier – France Win and BTTS No (2.25)

Turkey are on a run of four straight wins, but I should point out that their opponents haven’t been of a high standard. The French have only lost one of their last 15 games and have also won without conceding in three of their past five matches. The same has happened in three of their last four encounters with Turkey, so I’m going for the same this time around.

Palmeiras 1 v 0 Athletico Paranaense – Saturday 8 June – Brasilian Serie A – Palmeiras Win (1.45)

Palmeiras’ unbeaten run in Serie A now stands at 30 matches, which is phenomenal. They are top of the table after five wins in six games so far this season, and I think they’ll be too strong for the visitors. Paranaense have lost three of their seven league games and were beaten twice by Palmeiras last season. I have to back a Home Win.

San Jose Earthquakes 2 v 1 Dallas – Saturday 8 June – MLS – Both Teams to Score (1.50)

I can see goals in this game. Both Teams to Score has come in for seven of the Earthquakes’ last ten games in the MLS, and it’s been the same in eight out of ten for Dallas. Also, it’s worth noting that this fixture ended 4-3 last season. San Jose have won four games in a row at home, while the visitors have lost three of their last five games. I see a Home Win here.

Portugal 2 v 0 Netherlands – Sunday 9 June – Nations League Final – Under 2.5 Goals (1.65)

This is the final of the first ever Nations League in Europe. Portugal left it late to beat Switzerland in the semi-final on Wednesday, but Cristiano Ronaldo delivered with another hat trick. They have only lost once in 15 games, and that was at the World Cup. The Netherlands needed extra time to get past England, so I expect some tired legs here, especially since they’ve had one day fewer to rest. I think Portugal will win on the day and get their hands on another trophy.
