We’ve fished around the odds and the stats for this week’s line-up of explosive encounters in Europe. Here are some selections you should consider. You can bet on these matches here.

Borussia Dortmund v Tottenham Hotspur – Borrussia Dortmund Double Chance 1/X- 1.30

Dortmund have a huge mountain to climb if they want to progress to the Champions League quarterfinals. They lost 3-0 in the first leg away at Spurs and on Tuesday night, they have an opportunity to right the wrongs. The hosts are going through a sticky patch at the moment but they’ll take pride in their home form which has been terrific. They are yet to lose a match at home this season in all competitions. Spurs, on the other hand, have lost four games in a row away from home and have only won once in the Champions League in their last five. That win incidentally came against Dortmund, therefore, Spurs still have a say in this encounter.

Porto v AS Roma – Porto Win – 2.00

Porto’s defeat against Benfica on Saturday was their first in 19 matches they have played at home. The hosts have a solid home record and Roma will have to be at their best defensively to hold them off. With the tie perfectly poised at 2-1 in favour of the visitors, Porto have a golden chance to win it to progress to the quarters for the first time in four years. Meanwhile, Roma has lost all three away games in last season’s knockout rounds and two of their three away matches in Group G this season. Porto are huge favourites here given they would want to bounce back following Saturday’s painful loss.

Paris Saint-Germain v Manchester United – PSG Win – 1.50

PSG looked impenetrable against the English giants in their 2-0 at Old Trafford. PSG have emerged victorious in three of their six knockout ties against Premier League clubs. PSG have also won 19 of their 21 competitive home games this season which makes United’s job even more burdensome. Man United have never come back from a first-leg home defeat to win the tie in UEFA competition, losing both legs of all three previous contests. PSG are in a strong position heading into this contest and the English side must produce a special performance to progress.

Eintracht Frankfurt v Inter Milan – Inter Milan Double Chance X/2 – 1.60

Out of form Italian giants, Inter Milan have a huge task at hand in their first leg of the Europa League Round of 16. Their general form is wanting but they have lost only two of their last five away matches. Inter’s 37 UEFA competition matches against German opponents have yielded 16 wins, eight draws and 13 defeats. Only five of the 13 defeats were away from home. Frankfurt reached the last 16 of the UEFA Cup five times and progressed on every occasion. They also won every one of their home matches in those ties. Given this is Inter’s genuine chance of silverware this season, Luciano Spalletti is expected to go all out in Germany, although they must be wary of Frankfurt’s potent attack of Luka Jovic and company.

Napoli v Salzburg – Napoli Win – 1.50

Napoli’s Serie A dream collapsed spectacularly on Sunday when they got beat by defending champions Juventus at home. However, the Partenopei have a solid home record. Before last Sunday’s loss against Juventus, you will have to go all the way to March last year where the Italian side lost a home game. Meanwhile, Salzburg have won only four of their 14 European encounters with Italian clubs. However, the Austrian side famously eliminated another Italian giant Lazio in the quarter-final last season. Napoli are unbeaten at home in Europe this term and are expected to edge Salzburg at the Stadio San Paolo.
