Top 5 Bets for the Weekend: March 16-17

Our Top 5 Bets for this week focuses on games from the Premier League and Bundesliga. Click here to place your bets on the weekend action.

Stuttgart v Hoffenheim – Both Teams to Score – 1.40

Both teams have scored in eight of Stuttgart’s last ten games in the Bundesliga, including each of the last six at home. They play Hoffenheim, for whom defending has presumably been deemed trvial this season. They have scored and conceded in 22 of their 25 league games this season, including all of 12 away matches. Fans can expect entertainment when the two teams met on Saturday.

Burnley v Leicester – Both Teams to Score – 1.70

Seven of Burnley’s last ten games in the Premier League have seen both teams score. That stat applies to all of their past four games at Turf Moor. It’s been a similar story for Leicester. Both sides have scored in eight of their last ten league games, including each of the last five. Similarly, they have scored and conceded in ten of their 15 away league matches this season. Will it be the same this time around?

West Ham v Huddersfield – West Ham Win – 1.55

West Ham are ninth in the Premier League and have won four of their last five matches at the London Stadium in all competitions. In contrast, Huddersfield are bottom of the league and have lost 13 of their last 15 games. They have also not scored in any of their last six away matches across all competitions. West Ham have won two of the three matches between these sides since Huddersfield were promoted to the top flight 18 months ago, and they are favourites to do the same again here.

Hertha BSC v Dortmund – Both Teams to Score – 1.60

Hertha BSC have been leaking goals at home lately, having kept a clean sheet in just two of their past ten games at the Olympiastadion. They have also seen both teams score in seven of their last ten league games. Dortmund’s poor defence has been their downfall of late, as they have scored and conceded in 13 of their most recent 15 games in the Bundesliga. The same has happened in four of their last five meetings with Hertha. Judging by current form, nothing will change on Saturday.

Sint-Truiden v Gent – Both Teams to Score – 1.40

Since the Belgian First Division A resumed after the winter break, Sint-Truiden have both scored and conceded in seven of their eight league games. Overall, both sides have found the net in nine of their past ten league matches. Both teams have scored in Gent’s last seven league games and in ten of their 14 away games this season. These sides have both been on the scoresheet in their two previous meetings in 2018/19 – will this be the hat trick?
