The Premier League will resume this weekend after last week’s FA Cup break. There is plenty to think about, so here are the things to look out for. Bet on the Premier League here.

Tough test for Ole

Manchester United have won their five matches under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, although they showed signs of weakness during their 2-0 home win over Reading last weekend in the FA Cup. Their next fixture will be away to Tottenham and this will be Solskjaer’s real first test since replacing Jose Mourinho. Tottenham are in scintillating form and they won the midweek fixture against Chelsea in the EFL Cup. They also won the corresponding fixture away at Old Trafford and they will want to be the first team since Everton in 1987 to win four consecutive top-flight home matches against Manchester United. Whether they can achieve this will remain to be seen. Mr. Predictor’s tip – Both Teams to Score

Aubameyang to continue great record in London

Arsenal will be hopeful of looking to close the gap on the top four with a win over West Ham on Saturday afternoon. All eyes will shift to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has scored in each of his last four Premier League London derby matches, netting six goals in total while also providing two assists. He looks set to extend his London derby record with another notable outing at the London Stadium. The Gunners have won four, drawn two, and lost one of their last seven Premier League meetings with West Ham, although they have only won one of their three away games in this run. Match Tip: Aubameyang Anytime GoalscorerHughton’s poor record against Liverpool to continue

Hughton’s poor record against Liverpool to continue

Liverpool will be out to bounce back from their first Premier League defeat of the season when they visit Brighton on Saturday. Brighton won away to Bournemouth in the FA Cup last weekend, but now their attention will shift back to the Premier League where they are hoping to climb to the top half of the table. However, their manager has a terrible record against Liverpool. As a matter of fact, only one manager in Premier League history has a worse 100% defeat record against Liverpool than Brighton boss Chris Hughton. His record of six defeats in six matches is second best to Gary Megson, who lost nine out of nine games against the Reds. They will find a hard time beating this Liverpool side, but this being football it could be their lucky day. Match Tip – Liverpool win on -1 handicap

More doom for Huddersfield?

Huddersfield want to bring to an end their dreadful Premier League losing streak when they face Cardiff. Cardiff were favourites for the drop, but coming into this fixture they are two points outside the drop zone. Huddersfield have lost their last eight league games, which represents their worst ever run in league football. From the look of things, they are not about to get better as Huddersfield have lost their last eight games, their worst ever run in league football. Furthermore, Cardiff have won four of their last five meetings with the Terriers and are unbeaten in their last ten encounters compounding the visitor’s worries. Match Tip: Cardiff Win

Goals galore

Everton v Bournemouth promises goals. In fact, it is the highest scoring fixture in Premier League history, on average. The last three meetings between the two sides at Goodison Park have produced 15 goals and we expect a similar situation here. In addition to this, the Cherries have conceded 15 goals in four games, with 11 of those coming in the first half. You can expect another high scoring match as Everton haven’t been strong in defence either. Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score
