Manchester United visit Arsenal in a monumental clash for the top four, City and Liverpool look to continue with their battle at the summit and the relegation battle is set to hot up. Man United to strengthen their grip on the Top 4
United produced a sensational comeback to progress to the quarter-final of the Champions League on Wednesday in Paris. Meanwhile, a shambolic Arsenal lost their first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against French side Rennes. These two rivals meet in a blockbuster clash on Sunday evening as both sides will be looking for maximum points to aid their top four pursuit. Whichever team Ole Gunnar Solkjaer puts out will certainly trouble Arsenal who’ve already lost to United this season in the FA Cup. Arsenal produced one of their best away performances in recent times at Spurs last weekend but United are unplayable at the moment.
Rodgers to pick up his first win?
Brendan Rodgers suffered defeat in his first match in charge of Leicester City last weekend. The manner in which they lost the game was humiliating. Andre Gray scored an injury-time winner at Vicarage Road. However, this time round, Rodgers has a chance to right the wrongs. He faces a team which has picked up only two points away from home all season in Fulham. The Cottagers are deep in relegation trouble and have lost nine of their last ten matches. The hosts showed glimpses of what to expect from a Rodgers team. Although the Foxes weren’t great at home under Claude Puel, it’s hard to see Fulham getting a result at the King Power.
Chelsea to struggle against giant killers Wolves?
Maurizio Sarri has somehow steadied the ship at Chelsea following a turbulent few weeks. This weekend they’ll face a determined Wolves team who have won against Chelsea, Spurs and taken a point from Arsenal, Manchester City and United. Wolves have been this season’s surprise package. Nuno Espirito Santo relishes playing against ball-dominant teams like Chelsea. They are always solid and organized in defence which makes them a very difficult team to play against. On Sunday, Chelsea will have to be clinical and ready to break down a stubborn defence. Also, the visitors have had a week to prepare compared to Chelsea who were in action in the Europa League.
More gloom for relegation candidates
Huddersfield, Fulham and Cardiff sit in the 20th, 19th and 18th position in the Premier League table and appear to be heading down to the Championship unless miracles happen, with only nine matches left in the season. Huddersfield and Cardiff are at home to Bournemouth and West Ham respectively. Fulham are away to Leicester City and will require something special to get anything at the King Power. Huddersfield are 13 points from safety, Fulham are ten points adrift while Cardiff are only two points behind 17th placed Southampton who are on 27 points. All three teams face an uphill battle to stay up this season and things will probably get worse for them this weekend.

These two are expecting the title race to go down to the wire. However, Liverpool has stumbled in the last few matches winning just two of their last six matches, with leaders City winning nine out of their last ten. Both teams have relatively easy fixtures this weekend. Liverpool face Burnley at home while City welcomes Watford at the Etihad. Liverpool are yet to play Spurs and Chelsea whilst City are supposed to play Manchester United in the Derby and Spurs at home. Both teams should get the job done this weekend as we witness another intriguing title run in.
