Manchester United winning run to continue.

Manchester United recorded eight wins out of eight when they knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup with a comfortable 3-1 win. The Red Devils, now under the tutelage of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, are in the form of their lives and will take some stopping. They welcome relegation candidates Burnley at Old Trafford on Tuesday aiming to pile more pressure on Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal for the top four race. Burnley have caused United plenty of problems at Old Trafford. They have taken two points in their last two matches there but the form they are in leaves a lot of question marks. United have been rampant with six wins in a row in the league and Burnley have to be at their absolute best against the hosts.

Higuain to make a mark on his league debut?

Chelsea signed Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus as they look to solve their problems in front of goal. The Blues visit Bournemouth on Wednesday night seeking to consolidate their position inside the top four after losing away to local rivals Arsenal on Match Week 23. Higuain is a proven goal scorer at the top level. Under current Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri at Napoli, the 31-year-old scored 36 goals in the 2015/2016 season, a record in Serie A. However, the Argentine was shipped to AC Milan out following the arrival Cristiano Ronaldo but failed to light up San Siro. As someone who understands Sarri’s football style, he shouldn’t have a hard time settling in and hope to rekindle his new team’s goal scoring touch when the face Bournemouth.

Southampton good form to continue

The Saints play Crystal Palace in what is considered as a huge game for both teams on Wednesday. Southampton have turned a corner since the appointment of Austrian Ralph Hasenhuttl as their new manager following the dismissal of Mark Hughes in December. In ten games under Hasenhuttl, Southampton have won four, lost four and drawn two after winning only three league matches under Hughes. Wednesday’s game is massive and although a victory would not guarantee them safety, it will play a crucial role in defining their season. They have been decent at home recently registering important victories over Arsenal and Everton. Although the Eagles have a solid away record, the Saints, with their lively crowd, they can be difficult to play against.

Another upset at Anfield from Leicester City?

Leicester have already beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and champions Manchester City at home. Although they face Liverpool on the back of a defeat at Wolves, the Foxes will take confidence from the two games and try to cause another upset. They have lost three of their last five games two of which came against relegation-threatened Cardiff City and Southampton. The manner in which they lost their last game against Wolves will still haunt them but if they replicate their performance against Chelsea and City, an upset is on the cards.

Son Heung-Min return relief for Spurs.

Son Heung-Min will return to Tottenham Hotspur after his country, South Korea, were knocked out of the Asian Cup on Friday by Qatar in the quarter-finals. Spurs have been dealt a big blow recently in their attacking department with both Harry Kane and Dele Alli ruled out until March. Son and Kane have scored 47 percent of Spurs goals in the Premier League this season. With Fernando Llorente now leading the line, Mauricio Pochettino will be happy than one of his top goal scorers is back to bolster his attacking options given tough games in the Premier League, and the Champions League are coming up.
