NBA Betting Tips: March 16-17

Boston Celtics v Atlanta Hawks

Celtics have won five and lost five in their last ten matches while the Hawks, who have the 26th best record in the League and are 5-5 in their last ten games. The Celtics, however, have won four of their last five games. The hosts have also beaten the Hawks three times already this season and will be looking for a series sweep this season. Hawks are almost out of playoff contention while the Celtics are fifth in the Eastern Conference and will be seeking a win in order to gain ground for home court advantage for the playoffs. The Celtics are better than the visitors defensively while the Hawks a slightly better in the offensive end than the hosts. Oklahoma City Thunder v Golden State Warriors

Two Western Conference giants meet in a massive showdown at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Both teams have played twice already this season and each have a win apiece. Warriors have been in poor form lately but registered a statement win against top seed challengers Houston Rockets. The home side have won four and lost six of their last ten matches and dropped their last game away to Indiana Pacers. Both teams are pushing for home court advantage with their playoff place pretty much guaranteed. However, Warriors are still reigning champions and possess the ‘Splash Brothers’ duo who can swing a match in a blink of an eye. Match Tip: Home Win and Under 228.5 Points at odds of 3.40.

San Antonio Spurs v Portland Trail Blazers

This is another showdown of perennial playoff teams in the Western Conference with both looking to secure home-court advantage with the regular season almost coming to an end. The Blazers have won nine of their last 12 whilst Spurs are on a seven-game winning streak. Blazers have also beaten the Spurs two out of three times this season losing the other. The Blazers are top ten in offensive rating averaging 114.2 points per game while the Spurs are 16th. The Spurs are trying to climb up the standings in the Western Conference and will want to avoid the bottom three spots in the playoffs. Match Tip: Home Win at odds of 1.65.

Denver Nuggets v Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have lost five of their last nine games, but they will be aiming for a third straight win after stealing a massive win against Thunder in a 108-106 home win on Friday. moreover, the Nuggets have been in similar form. They’ve dropped four of their last seven games and will also be going for a third straight win.  Nuggets are also looking to cement second seed in the West while the Pacers look to cement fourth position in the East as the playoffs approach. This is the first meeting between these two this season and both will be looking for a win to improve their record. Match Tip: Home Win and Under 213.5 Points at odds of 3.30.

Utah Jazz v Brooklyn Nets

Utah Jazz have been in form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games and they’ll be aiming for a third straight win after blowing out Minnesota Timberwolves in a 120-100 at home in their last game. The Nets are aiming for their first playoff appearance since 2015 and sit seventh in the Eastern Conference.  The Jazz are also looking to lock in a playoff place and will present a tough assignment for the young Brooklyn Nets team. However, the Jazz good home record (22-12) should help them overcome hardworking and stubborn Nets. Match Tip: Home Win and Over 219.5 Points at odds of 2.10.
