New York Knicks v Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings could use a win after losing six of their last eight games and watch their playoff push slowly crumble. The Knicks are looking to snap a four-match losing streak and given they’ve already been eliminated from playoff contention; they’ll be playing for pride. The Kings are starting to collapse at the worst possible time. Averaging 113.8 points per game, the Kings can cause a bit of havoc to a Knicks team which allows 112.7 points per game, 28th best in the league. The Kings lost their last game 109-111 at home to the Celtics while the Knicks lost to the Phoenix Suns 107-96 in their last contest. Atlanta Hawks v Brooklyn Nets
The Nets are another team making that playoff push. Before heading to a difficult trip in the Western Conference, they’ll have to battle a dangerous and young Hawks team to stretch their winning streak to three. The Nets had lost three in a row which threatened to knock them out of playoff contention. They sit seventh in the Eastern Conference and look to solidify their position. The Hawks are 4-6 in the last ten games and have lost their last two. Their home record does not look good at 11-20. Moreover, the Nets have won four in a row overall against the Hawks. Minnesota Timberwolves v Washington Wizards
After a difficult start to the season, the Wizards are slowly coming into the playoff picture. However, their defence, which is 29th in the league, will have to withstand a decent Wolves offense. The Wolves are 5-5 in their last ten games and given they still have an intense schedule to finish the season, they have to win in Washington to improve their chances of making the playoffs for the second consecutive time. Wizards are 4-6 in the last ten and average 114.3 points per game, sixth best in the league. The Wolves home record stands at 21-10, which isn’t bad. Los Angeles Lakers v Boston Celtics
A showdown of these two historic rivals is always exciting. However, the Lakers look like they’ve given up on their playoff goal following four straight losses. Their remaining fixtures contain other playoff contending teams. They’ve won only two of their last ten matches. The Celtics meanwhile are going through a resurgence of some sort a few days ago they completely blew out defending champions Golden State Warriors 128-95 which is a big statement to other teams. Boston looks unstoppable at the moment with the third-best defence (105.7) in the league while Lakers defence in recent games has been disappointing. Match Tip: Away Win and Over 220.5 Points.
Milwaukee Bucks v Charlotte Hornets
The Milwaukee Bucks hope to solidify the first spot in the Eastern Conference when they welcome Charlotte Hornets. The Bucks are 8-2 in their last ten while the visitors have won only three in their last ten matches. The Bucks have also lost only 14 matches at home out of 35. This will be a difficult game for Michael Jordan’s Hornets who are seeking to get into playoff spots and we can only see this match going one way, a Bucks win.
