Hi guys. There are some recognisable faces in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers this week. Here’s my lowdown.
Legia Warsaw v Spartak Trnava – Tuesday 24 July – Champions League – BET HERE
Polish side Legia Warsaw will fancy their chances today. They have won three of their last five games and have recorded four wins in a row at home in the Champions League. They conceded zero goals in that run. This is Trnava’s first season in the tournament and they scraped through the last round with a 2-1 aggregate win over Zrinjski. Legia will be victorious tonight.

Ajax v Sturm Graz – Wednesday 25 July – Champions League – BET HERE
Ajax have a rich history in the Champions League and will be desperate to return to the group stages for the first time since 2014. Pre-season has been bad with only one win, whilst Sturm Graz managed good wins against Copenhagen and Middlesbrough. I’m tempted by a draw, but believe Ajax will rise to the occasion. Both Teams to Score has happened in their last eight Champions League games so I’m backing this too.

Celtic v Rosenborg – Wednesday 25 July – Champions League – BET HERE
Another side with history in this tournament, Celtic welcome Rosenborg for an interesting looking tie. The Bhoys have won five in a row during the off-season and will feel confident against a Rosenborg side who have no wins in eight away Champions League games. They faced each other last year and the results were 0-0 and 1-0 to Celtic. Considering what’s at stake, I see another tight Celtic victory.

Aberdeen v Burnley – Thursday 26 July – Europa League – BET HERE
Burnley fans are bouncing after the Clarets secured a European place for the first time in 51 years. They don’t have far to travel for this qualification match, but it is against an Aberdeen side who love playing at home in the Europa League. They have not lost at Pittodrie Stadium in eight games in this competition. It’s hard to call this one. The teams may not be up to speed this early in the summer, so I am going for a low scoring affair.

Ajaccio v Troyes – Friday 27 July – Ligue 2 – BET HERE
Ligue 2 is back and this looks an enticing fixture. Ajaccio finished third last year whilst Troyes were relegated from Ligue 1. Their away form was shocking, as they failed to win any of their last 12 matches on the road in any competition. They lost ten of those. I’m backing Ajaccio to twist the knife further into Troyes.
