I expect to see plenty of goals in the big games this weekend. Here are my thoughts.
Hoffenheim v Borussia Dortmund – Saturday 22 September – Bundesliga – BET HERE
These teams met on the final day last season, when Hoffenheim won 3-1 to ensure a Champions League spot. They’ve already lost twice in the Bundesliga this season but they have won eight of their last ten home league games. Dortmund haven’t won any of their last five games on the road and, even though they usually do well against the hosts, I’m backing a Home Win.

Schalke v Bayern Munich – Saturday 22 September – Bundesliga – BET HERE
Schalke came second in the Bundesliga last season, but they’ve lost all three of their league games this season and could only draw with Porto on Tuesday. Bayern also faced Portuguese opposition this week when they beat Benfica, and they’re on a roll in the league with three wins in a row. Since they’ve not lost to Schalke since 2011, I see an easy win for Bayern.

West Ham v Chelsea – Sunday 23 September – Premier League – BET HERE
West Ham ended their four-game losing streak with victory against Everton last weekend, but this is a bigger challenge. Chelsea are top of the table with five wins out of five and have scored 14 times so far, as opposed to just eight goals in their first five matches last season. I expect to see Over 2.5 Goals in this one, and I have to back Chelsea to win again.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: West Ham 1 v 3 Chelsea
Arsenal v Everton – Sunday 23 September – Premier League – BET HERE
Arsenal have won three league games in a row for only the second time in 2018. They’ve won eight of their last ten home league matches, while Everton have just one win so far this season, although Richarlison will return here. Both teams have scored with Over 2.5 Goals in these teams’ last four meetings, and I expect the same this time with the Gunners to win.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Arsenal 2 v 1 Everton
Lyon v Marseille – Sunday 23 September – Ligue 1 – BET HERE
I haven’t been too impressed by Lyon so far this season. They’ve only won two of their five league games, including a home defeat to Nice before the international break, but they did beat Manchester City on Wednesday. On the other hand, Marseille have won three of their five matches and won at Monaco in their last away game. They’ve not beaten Lyon in 90 minutes since 2014, but based on current form I’m going to go for an Away Win.
