This week we introduce you to another of our partners. We are proud to count him among the Premier Bet family: Eli Njuchi!
Chifuniro Steven Magalasi (born July 23, 2003), best professionally known as Eli Njuchi, is a Malawian singer and songwriter. In 2018, he won a UMP Award for Best New Act. In 2019, he won another UMP award as the best male of the year.
Magalasi has made several collaborations with different artists such the gospel rapper, ‘Suffix’ and AK in the remix of his song titled ‘Illuminati’.

What makes you proudly Malawian?
Peace. Peace, love, harmony and of course the beautiful views that Malawi has.
What is your favourite Malawian food?
I have a lot! But my most, most favourite Malawian dish is nsima served with chambo, of course should come together with beans and nkhwani.
What is your favourite place in Malawi?
That’s a tough one man! Malawi got so many beautiful places. So many amazing places but I really like Mangochi because of the lake, because of Lake Malwai. I just love the lake a lot. So I can say Mangochi or Salima because all of those places are near the lake.
What is your favourite sport / team / player?
I’m a football guy since my childhood. I love football so much. My favourite team in football is quite embarrassing but I love Man U. I’m a huge Man U fan. I love Man U so much since day one. Suiiiii! CR7 since day one. Yeah, I’m a CR7 fan.
What is your proudest moment so far?
I had a show last year in December, on the 28th and I remember when I was performing my mom joined me on stage and that was so amazing man. I keep on finding myself looking at the pictures, it was a beautiful memory you know.
What is your goal for the future?
Growth. In terms of everything. In terms of my music area and in terms of myself as a human.
