Tottenham will entertain Manchester City at Wembley in a Monday night clash where both sides will be happy to get points off their title challengers. The Big Game Focus takes a look at this fixture with a few tips for your consideration.

Mauricio Pochettino’s plan for Europe has been frustrated by poor results and their focus will shift to the Premier League where they still have hopes of challenging. They are just five points behind leaders Liverpool with a game to spare, but they have somewhat flown under the radar in the discussion about title challenges.

Manchester City for their part are not as dominant as they were last season, but they still look the favourites to retain their trophy. Pep Guardiola’s men seem to be improving with each and every passing game and they can only get better with the return of Kevin De Bruyne.

Spurs were awful in their 2-1 loss at home to Liverpool earlier in the season and they have not looked very convincing in any of their four Premier League wins since then. Whether they can turn things around will remain to be seen, though it does not look very good for them.

Betting preview

Man City are unbeaten in six Premier League away games in London they have won five whilst drawing one. The Citizens could become the first non-London side to win five consecutive Premier League games in the capital tonight and you can back an Away Win at odds of 1.70 here.

Raheem Sterling is one of their in-form goal scorers as he has four goals to his name in the Premier League so far and a total of six in all competitions. Backing him for the Anytime Goalscorer market promises good returns at odds of 2.45 here.

Four of the last five outings between the two have seen Over 2.5 Goals and with City’s goalscoring record, there is a good likelihood of the same happening at odds of 1.60 this way.

Team news

Jan Vertonghen and Vincent Janssen are set to miss out due to long-term injury concerns whilst both Dele Alli and Danny Rose are returning to fitness and they are unlikely to feature on in tonight’s fixture.

Claudio Bravo, Eliaquim Mangala, Ilkay Gundogan, and Danilo are expected to sit out for Manchester City, but De Bruyne could return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench last weekend.

Possible lineups

Tottenham: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davis, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Eriksen, Moura, Kane.
