Our Big Game Focus today is on the biggest Premier League clash of the weekend, Tottenham v Liverpool.
The match will be the first of an action-packed weekend of Premier League football, as Spurs host their rivals at Wembley. Liverpool are top of the standings after four matches, while Spurs went into the international break on the back of a rather unexpected 2-1 defeat to Watford.
They cannot afford to lose this match, as that would leave them six points adrift of the leaders with the season still in its early days.

Both Tottenham and Liverpool have scored nine goals in the league so far this season, which is more than anyone else save for Manchester City and Chelsea. Mohamed Salah has not yet hit the form he showed for most of last season, but he still has two goals in the first four matches. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been quite impressive at Wembley this year. Apart from a 3-1 loss to the irrepressible City in April, they have won every other league match there since West Ham United held them to a 1-1 draw in early January. Team news
Goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris is a major doubt for Tottenham, although he was quoted saying that he hopes to be fit enough to feature. Dele Alli pulled out of the England squad and missed the match against Switzerland on Tuesday with injury, but should be ready to face Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp is likely to recall Naby Keita to the team after the new signing started the Reds’ last match on the bench. Fellow new signing Fabinho is yet to feature in the Premier League and will also be hoping to finally taste some action.
