Bayern will be hoping to get their hands on another trophy when they play RB Leipzig in the DFB Pokal Final this Saturday. Bet on the match here.

Bayern will come into this fixture brimming with confidence after winning a seventh consecutive league title. Despite being by far the best side in terms of the Bundesliga for some years, they have not always dominated this competition.

Leipzig have been very good this season and they know that they can compete with the best team in the country; afterall they held Bayern to a 0-0 draw just a fortnight ago.

Expect this to be a very intense and hard-fought game, which could well be decided by a single goal or in extra-time.

Betting preview

Bayern are heavy favourites as they are undefeated in 36 of their last 38 matches in the DFB Pokal. Unfortunately for Ralf Rangnick’s men, the Bavarians are the best side in all attacking areas in the country, making odds of 1.50 for a Bayern win look incredible.

There have been Over 2.5 Goals scored in eight of Bayern’s last nine games and the same is true in all but one of Leipzig’s last five outings in all competitions. There is good value in backing Over 2.5 Goals at odds of 1.55.

We are also likely to witness goals at both ends as Bayern have not been very solid defensively. Three of their last four outings saw Both Teams to Score land and the same goes for four of Leipzig’s last five outings and you can back that at odds of 1.60 here.

Team news

Both Atinc Nukan and Kevin Kampl missed out last time out, though the latter could be back. Aside from that, Leipzig have few issues.

Javi Martinez and James Rodriguez are expected to miss out for Bayern, though Manuel Neuer could be confirmed for this fixture. Leon Goretzka is a doubt having been forced off early last time out.

Possible lineups
