Big Game Focus: Netherlands v France

Netherlands take on France in a crucial match in Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League’s League A. This is our Big Game Focus.

Victory for France over the Netherlands would leave them on the brink of winning the group. The world champions are currently top of Group 1 with seven points from three matches.

The Dutch trail them – four points behind, while Germany continue to struggle at the bottom. They have only accrued one point from their three games, and face the possibility of being relegated to League B.

Here are some betting tips on the game, as well as team news, including probable line-ups. Bet here on the UEFA Nations League.

Betting tips

The Netherlands have scored and conceded in five of their last six matches. Both Teams to Score has also occurred in four of L’Equipe’s last five games, including their 4-2 World Cup final win over Croatia. Odds for Both Teams to Score are at 1.65.

There have been Over 2.5 Goals in four of the last six matches between the two teams. The same has also happened in four of France’s last five games in all competitions, as well as three of the last four for the Oranje. Over 2.5 Goals is valued at 1.90.

France have not lost in 15 matches, since they were beaten by Colombia in March. Ronald Koeman’s team on the other hand, have two defeats and only three wins in their last eight games. The latest of those two losses was against France in September. The French have also won every single one of their last five matches against the Dutch, dating back to 2014. Odds are 2.25 for an Away Win for France.
