Big Game Focus: Napoli v Inter Milan

Inter Milan’s top four hopes will undergo a litmus test when they meet second-placed Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo. The hosts are guaranteed to finish second and this presents a tricky match for Inter who only need three points to finish in the top four. Can Inter secure a Champions League spot? Bet on the game here.

This will be another trophyless season for the Partenopei and there’s really nothing to write home about in their last home game of the season. They haven’t built on their great previous season given the hype that surrounded Carlo Ancelotti’s arrival. However, they have an opportunity to finish the season strong.

Inter have endured almost a similar campaign as their rivals. They have been underwhelming for large parts but a finish in the top four won’t be terrible. However, with just one win at Napoli in 16 matches, this presents a difficult outing for Luciano Spaletti’s men. Can they finally break their duck at the San Paolo?

Betting preview

Napoli are undefeated in 21 of their last 23 home matches in the Serie A. The home side are also undefeated in 15 of their last 16 home matches against Inter in all competitions. Therefore, you can back a Home Win at odds of 2.45.

This fixture has been a notoriously low scoring affair. The last seven matches in this fixture has seen only one team score with just nine goals scored. Inter have also kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven matches against Napoli in all competitions. Therefore, odds of 2.25 for Both Teams to Score No looks attractive.
