Unbeaten teams Ghana and Tunisia meet in another last 16 clash of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. Both teams have underwhelmed so far and it will be interesting to see who will rise to the occasion and book a place in the quarter-final.  Here’s the Big Game Focus with some betting tips. Bet on AFCON here.

Ghana have underwhelmed in this tournament so far. They drew two and won one of their three group games. As a team with high expectations, the Black Stars have failed to show why they’re one of the best teams on the continent. The Ghanaians have made it past the quarters in every AFCON tournament since 2008. Can they beat the 2004 champions?

Tunisia is another team which has disappointed in the group stage. The Carthage Eagles were one of five African teams to make it to last year’s World Cup tournament. Tunisia last won the tournament in 2004 on home soil. Although they have a solid team, evident by their unbeaten record, they have not been spectacular. They also lack the star players that their opponents tonight boast, but this tournament has shown you don’t need stars in knockout football. Just look at Benin and Madagascar.

Betting preview

Ghana has beaten Tunisia in three of their last five meetings. The four-time champions are unbeaten in their last six matches. Therefore, you can back Ghana Double Chance at odds of 1.30.

All but one of Black Stars’ last six matches have seen two or fewer goals scored. Four of Tunisia’s last six games has seen Under 2.5 Goals. Furthermore, three of the five meetings between these two teams has seen two or fewer goals. Therefore, you can back Under 2.5 Goals at odds of 1.35.

At least one team has not found the net in five of Ghana’s last six matches. In the last five meetings between these two giants, three of them saw only one team find the back of the net. Therefore, you can back Both Teams to Score No at odds of 1.60.

Team news

Except for the withdrawal of Newcastle United’s Christian Atsu from Ghana’s squad due to an injury, Kwesi Appiah does not have any major injury problems. Thomas Agyepong is back in training and in contention of tonight’s match.

Tunisia have injury concerns over star man Wahbi Khazri, who suffered a muscle injury during the Carthage Eagles’ last group stage game against Mauritania. Aymen Ben Mohammed is also a huge doubt for today’s game.

Possible line-ups

Ghana: Ofori, Yiadom, Mensah, Adams, Rahman, Wakaso, Partey, Asamoah, Ayew, Agyepong, Ayew
