Mr. Predictor discusses the Bundesliga games this weekend

Mr. Predictor

Hi everyone! I got four of my five tips correct on the Bundesliga games last weekend. Hopefully I can go one better this time! You can bet here.

Wolfsburg v Borussia Dortmund – Bundesliga

Both of these sides won last weekend and will be confident. Wolfsburg scored in the last minute to take three points at Augsburg. They haven’t lost any of their last seven Bundesliga games. However, I should note that they have only won one of their last five home games in the Bundesliga. Second-placed Dortmund have won eight of their nine Bundesliga games in 2020, netting 31 times in the process. They’ve beaten the hosts in eight of their last nine meetings and I’m predicting the same result this time.

My prediction: Wolfsburg 1 v 2 Borussia Dortmund – Borussia Dortmund Win (1.75)

Borussia Monchengladbach v Bayer Leverkusen – Bundesliga

These teams are fighting for a place in the Champions League next season, but Monchengladbach are looking further up the table. They are third, six points behind leaders Bayern. Their defence remains a concern though, as they have conceded in all nine of their Bundesliga games in 2020. Leverkusen are fifth and will go above their opponents should they win. They have so far won seven of their nine league games in 2020, while Both Teams to Score has been a winning bet in six of those. I’m going for the same bet here.

My prediction: M’Gladbach 1 v 1 Leverkusen – Both Teams to Score (1.60)

Bayern Munich v Eintracht Frankfurt – Bundesliga

I wasn’t impressed by Bayern last weekend, but they did enough to comfortably beat Union Berlin (another winning tip for me). They have won 11 of their 12 games across all competitions in 2020. Eight of those 11 victories have been by a margin of two or more goals. Frankfurt, on the other hand, have lost each of their last three games by at least two goals. They actually beat Bayern a 5-1 hammering when they met in November, but Jerome Boateng was dismissed just nine minutes in. Bayern have actually beaten them on the Handicap in eight of the last ten meetings at the Allianz Arena.

My prediction: Bayern Munich 3 v 0 Eintracht Frankfurt – Bayern Win with 0:1 Handicap (1.40)

Freiburg v Werder Bremen – Bundesliga

Freiburg were unlucky not to beat RB Leipzig last weekend. They had to settle for a 1-1 draw after having had a goal disallowed in the dying seconds. They’re still seventh, though, ten places above Bremen. The visitors have lost 12 of their last 15 Bundesliga games. They’ve only managed to beat Freiburg once in their last five meetings in the league, too. I see a Home Win, but I’m going for the insurance of the Double Chance market.

My prediction: Freiburg 1 v 0 Werder Bremen – Double Chance Freiburg (1.35)

Mainz v RB Leipzig – Bundesliga

Can RB Leipzig return to form after three consecutive draws? They’re fourth in the table as it stands and could go second depending on other results this weekend. They have only conceded twice in their last eight games in all competitions and haven’t let in any in their last four away from home. Considering they beat Mainz 8-0 earlier this season, I see a much-needed win for the visitors.

My prediction: Mainz 0 v 2 RB Leipzig – Sunday – Both Teams to Score No (2.20)
