Big Game Focus: Bayern Munich v Tottenham Hotspur

Both Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur have already booked their places in the knockout stages of this season’s Champions League. This match will, therefore, be all about pride and an entertaining match at the Allianz Arena is in store. Spurs were demolished 7-2 by the German champions in the first leg back in October and will be out for revenge tonight. Here’s the Big Game Focus. Bet on the game here.

Bayern Munich can become only the seventh team to win all six games in the Champions League group stage as they welcome Tottenham at the Allianz.  The Germans hammered the English side 7-2 in the first leg and although both teams have sealed their place in the last 16, a thrilling match should be in store. Bayern are guaranteed to finish top of Group B regardless of tonight’s result. Since humiliating Spurs in October, a lot has changed. Bayern’s Niko Kovac and Spurs’ Mauricio Pochettino were dismissed and Hansi Flick and Jose Mourinho respectively took the reins.

Since Mourinho was appointed, Spurs have won four of their last five games, scoring 16 goals in the process. They will be out to avenge that painful 7-2 defeat which marked the first time they’ve conceded seven goals at home in their history.  Will they get their revenge?
