Mr. Predictor looks at Liverpool v Manchester City, as well as Der Klassiker

What a weekend! On Saturday the two biggest teams in Germany clash once again, before Sunday sees a potential title-decider in England. You can read my thoughts below. Click here to bet.

Leicester 2 v 0 Arsenal – Saturday 9 November – Premier League – Leicester Win (2.05)

If Arsenal lose this game, they’ll be nine points behind Leicester and it will be very difficult for them to finish in the top four. Frankly, I think that’s the likely outcome here. The Foxes are third in the standings, having won seven of their last ten league games including each of the last four at the King Power Stadium. The Gunners, on the other hand, are winless in their last three outings in the Premier League. They haven’t won an away league game since the opening day and have lost on their two previous visits to Leicester. Back a Home Win.

Bayern Munich 2 v 1 Borussia Dortmund – Saturday 9 November – Bundesliga – Over 2.5 Goals (1.40)

Der Klassiker is always a special game. Dortmund beat champions Bayern Munich 2-0 when they played in the Super Cup in August. However, we mustn’t forget that humiliating 5-0 defeat they suffered here last season, which handed the title to the hosts. This will be Bayern’s first league game since Niko Kovac was sacked. They’re a point behind Dortmund, who are on a three-game winning run in all competitions. I’m backing Over 2.5 Goals here; it’s happened in nine of Bayern’s ten league games this term and eight for Dortmund. As for a result, I think Bayern still have the edge at home.

Borussia Monchengladbach 2 v 1 Werder Bremen – Sunday 10 November – Bundesliga – Over 2.5 Goals (1.50)

Monchengladbach are top of the Bundesliga at the start of the weekend after a run of four wins in their last five league games. I do expect them to struggle more than usual, though, after having to play in the Europa League on Thursday. Visitors Werder Bremen have not lost any of their last five league games but it’s not all good news – they haven’t won any of them either! They are on a run of five straight draws and haven’t beaten Monchengladbach in any of their last seven meetings. I have to go for a Home Win.

Liverpool 1 v 1 Manchester City – Sunday 10 November – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.50)

I know we’ve heard this before, but this game could end up deciding the destination of the Premier League title come May. Liverpool have only lost just one of their last 50 games in the Premier League and haven’t been beaten in any competition at Anfield in over a year. Against any other opponent, it would be hard not to expect the Reds to win this. However, that one league defeat came against champions Manchester City, who are second in the table. They know victory here would reduce the gap at the top of the table to three points and would deal a psychological blow to Jurgen Klopp’s side. These teams drew in the Community Shield in August – I’m backing the same this time.

Juventus 2 v 0 AC MIlan – Sunday 10 November – Serie A – Juventus Win (1.45)

Unsurprisingly, Juventus are top of the Serie A going into the weekend, having won nine of their 11 games to date. It’s an impressive start and, if AC Milan have any hopes of leaving Turin with three points, they’ll have to do something very special. Of their last 80 league games at home, Juventus have only lost two and have won an incredible 70!! The Rossoneri, meanwhile, have suffered defeat in five of their ten league games this season and have lost eight times in a row to Juventus in all competitions. I can’t look past a win for the champions here.
