Top 5 Bets for the Week

With the AFCON tournament in the closing stages and clubs across Europe just kicking off their pre-season, we looked at our odds and stats and came up with Top 5 Bets of the Week for you to consider. Bet on football here.

Tunisia v Nigeria – Nigeria Double Chance – 1.35

Both these two teams lost their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final matches and will be looking to go out on a high when they meet in the third-place playoff tie. The Super Eagles are unbeaten against Tunisia in their last six meetings. The North Africans have won just once from open play in this tournament drawing four and losing once. The Carthage Eagles can be solid but they lack adventure going forward. Therefore, the Super Eagles should cause them plenty of problems.

Arsenal v Bayern Munich – Bayern Munich Win – 1.75

Arsenal play their second warm-up game against German champions in the USA. The Germans have terrorized the Gunners in the last few years in the Champions League. In the last three competitive matches between these two, Bayern have beaten Arsenal 5-1 in all the three encounters. In the last seven meetings, the Germans have won four. Although this is just a pre-season match, Bayern are the superior team.

Senegal v Algeria – Algeria Win – 2.70

Algeria are unbeaten in the AFCON tournament. They secured a final berth with a sensational stoppage-time win over Nigeria in the last match. The Desert Foxes have already beaten the Senegalese earlier in the competition. Algeria are also unbeaten against Senegal in five matches. Given this is the final, this will be a cagey affair but Algeria have demonstrated they can scrap it out.

Manchester United v Leeds United – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.55

Manchester United and Leeds United will lock horns for the first time since 2011 when the pair meet for a pre-season friendly in Perth, Australia, on Wednesday night. Matches between these two arch-rivals have always been entertaining in yesteryears. The Red Devils are obviously superior against Leeds who play in the Championship. United won 3-0 the last time they met. Therefore, a high-scoring match is on the cards.

Porto v Fulham – Porto Win – 1.40

Porto have won four of their last five matches whilst Fulham have lost four straight matches. The Portuguese also won their latest friendly match 6-0 while the Londoners lost 1-0 to Burnley.
