Top 5 Bets of the weekend

There are exciting matches this weekend including the Copa America final, the 2019 Women’s World final and the last 16 round in the Africa Cup of Nations.  We’ve looked at the odds and came up with Top 5 Bets of the Weekend for you to consider. Bet on football here.

England Women v Sweden Women – England Women Win – 1.65

The Lionesses pushed arguably the best team in the world till the last minute in the semis but lost narrowly 2-1 to the USA. They have won five out of their last six matches while Sweden have lost two of their last six. In this World Cup tournament, England have been a dangerous team and equally matched the USA in the semi-final, while Sweden were not inspiring in their 1-0 defeat in the semis to the Dutch. Therefore, Phil Neville’s women are heavy favourites.

Argentina v Chile – Under 2.5 Goals – 1.95

Dubbed as one of the most useless football matches, Argentina and Chile, finalists in the last two Copa America tournaments, meet in the third-place playoff in this year’s edition. Three of the last five meetings between these two have seen two or fewer goals scored. Despite having a five-time Ballon d’Or winner in their ranks in Lionel Messi, Argentina’s last five matches have seen Under 2.5 Goals. This has been a low-scoring affair and it look like nothing will change on Saturday.

Egypt v South Africa – Egypt Win – 1.55

2017 Africa Cup of Nations finalists Egypt and 1996 winners South Africa meet in an eagerly awaited last 16 encounter. The Pharaohs have won all their matches in the competition so far while Bafana Bafana have lost two of their last three matches. Egypt have more quality and will also be playing in front of their own crowd. Egypt should get this one over the line.

USA Women v Netherlands Women – USA Women Win & Over 2.5 Goals – 2.25

USA have been tipped to win it all in this year’s Women’s World Cup in France. They’ve won a staggering 12 matches in a row and are heavy favourites in this one. They’ve beaten the Dutch in their last two meetings which also saw Over 2.5 Goals. Four of USA’s last five matches have seen three or more goals scored. Three of the Netherlands’ last five matches have seen Over 2.5 Goals. Over 2.5 Goals has been the winning bet in the last two finals.

Brazil v Peru – Under 2.5 Goals – 1.75

Brazil have kept a clean sheet in all of their last six matches with three of those matches seeing two or fewer goals. The last two finals ended 0-0 between Chile and Argentina. Finals are typically cagey with few chances in between and, although Brazil are favourites here, a low-scoring affair is on the cards.
