Three Keys: Man City v Tottenham

After that thrilling and agonising Champions League quarter final second leg exit against Spurs, City welcome their vanquishers again on Saturday, this time in the Premier League. Will they have the last laugh? Here are the Three Keys to this match. You can bet on the Premier League here.

City’s attack v Spurs defence

City have scored a whopping 152 goals in all competitions this season with 86 of them in the Premier League. Spurs should be worried about this given they conceded four in that wild Champions League match on Wednesday night.

Spurs have conceded 34 goals in the Premier League this season with 21 coming away from home. They’ve also kept just one clean sheet in six of their last seven matches against City. They will want to tighten their grip at the back after conceding four in the Champions League at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling v Son Heung-Min

Sterling is having a phenomenal season. He scored twice on Wednesday in the Champions League against Spurs and was denied a hat-trick by VAR. He was a constant menace for the Spurs backline. He’s scored 23 goals in all competitions this season and should play a crucial role in Saturday’s early kick-off. In total the 24-year old England forward has scored seven times against the visitors.

Son Heung-Min has been terrific for Spurs this season. The South Korean has 12 Premier League goals this term. He has also scored four goals against the hosts in six appearances. On Wednesday at the Etihad, he tormented City’s defence, scoring twice. Therefore, the home side will have to be wary of the lethal forward.

City terrific home form v Spurs poor away form

City have won all but one of their home matches this season in the Premier League. They have instilled a fear factor in their backyard with only Crystal Palace coming out with all three points. The reigning champions are rampant when at home and Spurs will have to concentrate or risk another battering.

Spurs have lost four consecutive away matches in the Premier League, conceding eight goals and scoring three. They have also conceded 11 goals in their last three visits to the Etihad. This looks like Spurs will have to be at their absolute best to get something out of here and solidify their top four ambitions.
