I’m looking at fixtures across a range of competitions this week. Here are my thoughts.
Blackburn v Newcastle – Tuesday 15 January – FA Cup – BET HERE
Newcastle’s form in the FA Cup has been terrible in recent years. They’ve lost eight of their past ten away matches in the competition with only four goals in that run. They also have only won once in their past ten games overall. Blackburn have five wins from their last ten FA Cup games and are in better form. I think the Championship side will get the win.
Match Tip: Under 2.5 Goals (Odds: 1.65)

Juventus v AC Milan – Wednesday 16 January – Super Cup – BET HERE
AC Milan are only in the Super Cup because they lost 4-0 to Juventus in last season’s Coppa Italia final, which says a lot. Juventus secured the double last year and have won 12 of their last 15 games in all competitions. As for Milan, they are fifth and have lost their last six games against the Old Lady, so it’s hard to see them lifting the trophy here. I’m backing a win for the Old Lady.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Juventus 2 v 0 AC Milan
AS Monaco v Nice – Wednesday 16 January – Ligue 1 – BET HERE
The big story here is the first managerial meeting between old teammates Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira. Monaco still haven’t won at home this season in Ligue 1, although they did get a point at Marseille on Sunday. Nice are eighth but have been inconsistent so my tip here would be Under 2.5 Goals, which has happened in eight of their nine away games this season. I’ll back a Draw.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: AS Monaco 0 v 0 Nice
Barcelona v Levante – Thursday 17 January – Copa del Rey – BET HERE
Barcelona have to win here after they lost 2-1 in the first leg last week. Fortunately, they’ve won 18 of their last 20 home games in the Copa del Rey, which they’ve also won four years in a row. They’ve also won their last five home games against Levante, scoring 24 times and conceding just once. Levante haven’t won any of their last six away games and I think they’ll lose comfortably here.
Match Tip: 2nd Half With Most Goals (Odds: 1.95)
