Mr. Predictor looks at the World Cup final and more

There’s just the small matter of the World Cup final this weekend. Read all of my tips for Saturday and Sunday below.

France v Croatia – Sunday 15 July – World Cup Final – BET HERE

This is it! France have a chance to lift their second World Cup after five wins in six matches so far. They’ve got four clean sheets, so they’re the team in form here. Croatia are making their debut in a World Cup final and have come from behind to draw in all of their three knockout games, so Les Bleus have to be able to hold a lead. The final is historically a low scoring fixture, with Under 2.5 Goals in the last four. I think that France will have the energy and quality to claim the trophy.

Match Tip: Under 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: France 2 v 0 Croatia

Belgium v England – Saturday 14 July – World Cup – BET HERE

This is the second time these sides will meet at this World Cup and, like the first time, there isn’t much at stake. Belgium won five games in a row before defeat to France, including against England two weeks ago. Harry Kane is set to win the Golden Boot with six goals so far and will be pushing to score here. I expect goals here, but I think Belgium have the better squad and will win it.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Belgium 3 v 1 England

Legia Warsaw v Arka Gdynia – Saturday 14 July – Polish Super Cup – BET HERE

Legia won the double last season with victory over Arka Gdynia in the cup final. They’ve started this season strongly with three wins in four friendlies, and they beat Cork City in a Champions League qualifier on Tuesday. Arka Gdynia lost eight of their final ten matches last season and, although they beat Legia on penalties in the Super Cup last season, I’m backing Legia this time.

Match Tip: Legia Warsaw Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Legia Warsaw 2 v 1 Arka Gdynia

HJK v TPS – Saturday 14 July – Veikkausliiga – BET HERE

It’s looking good for HJK, who are seven points clear at the top of the league. They’ve picked up wins in each of their last six home games, five of which have been by at least two goals. TPS are on the up with two wins in five matches, but they’ve lost on the handicap in three of their past five away games. HJK have beaten them in four of their last five encounters, so I’m going for a Home Win.

Match Tip: HJK Win with -1 handicap
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: HJK 2 v 0 TPS

PS Kemi v Honka – Saturday 14 July – Veikkausliiga – BET HERE

PS Kemi are bottom of the table in Finland and things aren’t going well for them. They’ve lost 13 of their 18 matches so far, including the last five. Honka are fifth in the league and have won three of their last five games. Even though they’re the home team, I don’t expect much from PS Kemi here, so I’m backing an Away Win.

Match Tip: Honka Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: PS Kemi 1 v 2 Honka
